When I requested to review the Tenga Egg, I had no idea there were different types. I was simply sent a random one. As a consumer on the GoodVibes website, however, the product description gives details as to how each kind of Tenga Egg is different. I own and have messed around with two types of Tenga Eggs, and these details, to me, are incredibly important. The product is described as being useful for those with “penises.” As a company that markets itself as trans* friendly, it should be aware of how this language could be potentially triggering, especially to trans women. This particular product is also promoted in the Gender Expression section of the site under sex toys trans* folks have given good feedback on making it more likely for trans* people to see this product as opposed to other products with similar descriptions. I don’t expect GoodVibes or any other sex-related store to have entirely inclusive language, but I do hope that they work towards being more inclusive in general.

I was really let down by the Tenga Egg Clicker, not because the product is terrible but because I had high expectations. I thought it would be smaller and easier to use with me 2(ish) inch dick. Extremely excited, I opened it up and immediately put it to use only to find myself more dysphoric than I have ever been about my genitals in my life and incapable of functioning due to the subsequent depression. 

I don’t recommend this style of Tenga Egg to those with dicks or clits that are the same size as mine or smaller. The Clicker is characterized by the bulbs that line the inside of the Tenga Egg. They are pretty big and reside in clumps as opposed to the entirety of the interior. Because of the fact that I have to hold the Tenga Egg in a very specific fashion in order to even come in physical contact with the lining, the bulbs do nothing for me.

I know that I am willing to try new things sexually in order to affirm my identity, and I feel like many of those who read this blog may also do the same. For those interested in penetrating something during masturbation, it’s not really possible with the Tenga Egg if your anatomy is anything like mine, which is incredibly disappointing. Like I said, I’m disappointed because of a lack of knowledge of the product on my part. I expected it to be smaller and more easily penetrated.

I literally only used the product once, because it did nothing for me and was really upsetting for me to even try to use. Because of this, I have to unfortunately give the Clicker a 0/5 rating.

I will be posting another Tenga Egg review for the Silky style which had more hopeful results.
